The first post of 2016

Greetings, everyone.

I know I had been silent for a few weeks ever since the last blog post, but there wasn't much to write about, and what there was, I wanted to save it for later. And it seems the later time has come.

First of all, I have moved away to a new country. I had been struggling with quite a few unpleasant things for years back at the old place. Crappy life perspectives fueled by a certain middle-aged lazy-ass person's unrealized ambitions that were forced onto me, plus a bunch of enemies that appeared around me for no good reason. So it's no wonder that as soon as I got the chance to move away to Germany, I packed all the essentials (including the ones for animation work and stuff) and flew through hundreds of miles without hesitation. Not to mention the old equipment back at the old place got destroyed in yet another drunk accident soon afterwards, so there's not much for me to go back to anyway.

Next, I've got invited by Phoenix Studios (a bit confusing of a name, so the links to the actual people will be provided). They have seen my animation, and, long story short, now I, with at least several other animators, several voice actors and a director, am working on the new and ambitious project, "Harmony Revolt". The closest I was to large cooperated animation previously were collabs that I have partaken in, as well as working with Maltos, the voice actor of Dokuroshima. So, compared to my past experience, this gig seems rather epic.

So if you're curious about the gig I've joined, you can visit these links:

And last but not least, I got my own projects going on.

Dokuroshima Episode 2, as of now, is still in writing stage. The general idea is ready, and I'm working on the details, such as the script. No deadlines are considered yet, obviously.

West Challenger vs. the World, the spin-off webcomic about an antagonist, West Challenger, is under a thick layer of dust somewhere in DeviantArt. Ideas are being processed in my head, but as of now, I am far too preoccupied with everything else, so it is unlikely that there will be another comic strip anytime soon.

Mad Monitor, a YouTube-exclusive fanime review show that was put into development hell, had to have the pilot episode totally rewritten. All outside material is gathered, so what is still needed to do is to hook up the editing software to the new hardware and come up with a few ideas to make it look outstanding compared to other wannabe reviewers that just rip off AVGN/Nostalgia Critic. Just another feeble attempt to get some of that Internet fame, nothing more, nothing less.

And then there's another little parody flash that is being worked on alongside Harmony Revolt. It may come out this month, however I am not really willing to disclose most of the info about it until the release. The only thing I'll mention that it happens in the game of Runescape.
